Position Summary
The Rehabilitation RN provides compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. Working closely with an interdisciplinary team, you will help patients achieve their highest level of function, independence, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify rehabilitation needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
- Support best practices in rehabilitation nursing
Qualifications
- Current RN license
- BLS certification required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or related nursing experience preferred
- BSN, ACLS, and/or CRRN certification preferred
