Position Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct resident care and support in accordance with each resident's care plan. This role helps residents maintain their highest level of independence while promoting dignity, comfort, safety, and quality of life in a homelike environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and support according to resident care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Promote resident independence, dignity, and choice
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and homelike environment
- Protect and support resident rights
- Work collaboratively with nurses and other care team members
- Observe and report changes in resident condition
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care
- Ability to support residents with dignity, respect, and empathy
