LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Hospitalist PA in Washington, Washington DC, 20373!
We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician Assistant for a 72-day assignment in DC, starting Nov 1, 2026. This role involves medical management and rounding on patients within the trauma floor, primarily covering night shifts from 6 pm to 7 am, with occasional day shifts potentially required.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform medical management and rounding on patients on the trauma surgery floor.
- Place orders for patient care.
- Communicate effectively with multi-discipline teams.
Additional Information
- Work within an inpatient medicine setting, specifically on the trauma surgery floor.
- EMR: Cerner.
- This is a hospitalist position with no OR time or procedures required.
- Shift hours are 6 pm to 7 am, with potential for some day shifts from 6 am to 7 pm.
