Applicants will need an active state license and relevant clinical experience to start the assignment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active New Mexico Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required prior to start.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
- Current clinical experience treating adult post-acute and rehabilitation patients preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with restorative programs, fall risk assessment, and mobility training preferred.
- Documentation experience with electronic medical records preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
- Shift Days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat (per VMS work days).
- Typical weekly hours: 35 per VMS guaranteed hours.
- Candidate may be expected to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
