Rhino Medical is leading the charge actively seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine Physicians with ED experience for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Mason City, Iowa.

Facility Overview
Regional medical center serving northern Iowa
- 35,000 annual ED visits
- Level III Trauma Center

regional hub, providing comprehensive emergency care with access to specialty services when needed.
Shift Structure
Physicians must be flexible across multiple shifts:
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Swing and night shift availability required.
Clinical Environment
Physicians will work alongside a collaborative care team including:
- APP coverage: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Support staff and nursing team
- Efficient patient flow with moderate acuity
This ED offers a
balanced mix of cases with manageable admissions and strong operational support.
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine with ED experience
- Active Iowa license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required
- ATLS preferred
- Ability to work nights and swing shifts
