Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Phoenixville, PA. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist with outpatient experience to evaluate and treat patients to restore independence in daily activities. This role involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing discipline-specific direction, documenting care accurately, and contributing to a safe clinical environment that supports patient and employee safety.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Outpatient experience required.
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or eligible to sit for the CHT exam preferred.
- 1-2 years of hand therapy experience preferred.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- No new graduates. Must have prior clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience completing comprehensive evaluations, functional goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and timely documentation.
- Experience supervising students and participating in clinical education.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and participation in performance improvement initiatives.
Assignment Details
- Assignment setting: Outpatient clinic in Phoenixville, PA.
- Schedule: 5 days per week. Options may include five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days.
- Must be able to provide hand therapy services and manage caseload independently.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, adherence to physician orders, and compliance with state practice act.
