Join a busy outpatient clinic in Philadelphia, PA as a Physical Therapist. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and direct discipline-specific therapy services to support functional return to community activities. Responsibilities include clear and timely medical record documentation, patient and family education, participation in student training when assigned, and adherence to state practice acts and organizational policies. The position emphasizes patient and employee safety and requires contribution to performance improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Pennsylvania physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- No new graduates. Must have prior clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy.
- Ability to complete comprehensive patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document per clinic and regulatory requirements.
- Willingness to float to other clinic locations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
- Experience supervising students or mentoring junior staff.
- Familiarity with safe patient handling practices and clinic performance improvement processes.
Assignment Details
- Shift pattern: 5x8.
