You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, document care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, functional return to community activities. You will uphold professional standards, follow clinic policies, and participate in performance improvement and student supervision as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Pennsylvania state Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred. This includes evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and progression toward discharge goals.
- Experience completing timely, accurate medical record documentation, including goal writing, quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
- Ability to participate in student clinical education and provide appropriate supervision and evaluation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling and materials handling preferred.
