Responsibilities
This is a full-time on-site role for a Service Manager at H & H MECHANICAL INC located in Austell, GA.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department
- Managing a team of technicians
- Assisting dispatcher in coordinating service calls
- Ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintaining inventory
- Tracking service performance metrics, and implementing process improvements
- Resolving customer concerns and complaints in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner
- Order parts and equipment as needed
- Maintaining and improving leadership skills via self-study, seminars, etc
- Training designated employees in proper procedures, practices, and promotion of H & H Mechanical
- Working with suppliers and vendors on pricing, performance, reliability, and availability
- Implementing quality control procedures for the HVAC Service Team to ensure optimal customer service, efficient use of equipment and time, and meeting departmental strategic and budgetary goals
- Develops individuals for future advancement
- This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for leadership, performance management and hiring of the employees within its department
- This is a full-time position and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5pm
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
- Travel is primarily locally during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected Job Type: Full-time
