JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or other eligible boards (ABFM, ABIM, ABPS, AOA)
- Licenses: Active, unrestricted Tennessee Medical License
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA registration with Tennessee address required
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS required; PALS and NRP as applicable
- Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine; new graduates accepted
- Other Qualifications: Case logs from previous two years, documentation of immunizations, TB test
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency care in a Level I Trauma Center
- Collaborate closely with advanced practice providers and serve as a supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care coordination
- Manage major trauma emergencies and complex patient care needs across the region
- Satisfy all hospital credentialing and privileging requirements
