REQUIRED PROCEDURES
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
- Licenses: Active Ohio medical license, Active DEA with Ohio address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, 5
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Ohio address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, 5
- Certifications: NRP required for all; ACLS, PALS, ATLS required for FM/IM physicians; EM boarded physicians exempt from ACLS/PALS/ATLS
- Experience: Residency trained in EM, IM, or FM
- Other Qualifications: Documentation of case logs for previous 2 years; Seasonal influenza vaccine required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED.
- Manage moderate-acuity patient volume of approximately 25,000 annual visits.
- Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
- Perform moderate sedation procedures as needed.
- Maintain required certifications and licensure.
