Accounts Payable SpecialistWoodland Hills, CA | Onsite | Corporate Accounting Team Pay: $28-$35/hr DOEJoin a Growing Manufacturing CompanyWe're partnering with a stable and growing manufacturing organization in El Segundo that is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join its Corporate Accounting team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, problem-solving, and collaboration are highly valued.
The ideal candidate has experience processing high-volume invoices, performing 3-way matching, and working within an ERP system in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
What You'll Be Doing- Process high-volume accounts payable invoices with accuracy and efficiency
- Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices
- Review invoice coding and approvals to ensure compliance with company policies
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, receiving issues, and vendor payment inquiries
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal departments
- Prepare ACH, wire, and check payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances
- Assist with month-end close and AP accrual activities
- Maintain accurate AP records and documentation for audit purposes
- Support process improvement initiatives within the accounting department
What We're Looking For- 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-driven environment
- Strong understanding of 3-way matching (PO, receiving, and invoice)
- Experience processing high-volume invoices
- ERP system experience required (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, or similar)
- Strong Excel skills including sorting, filtering, and lookups
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications- Corporate Accounts Payable experience
- Experience supporting multi-entity operations
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
