PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE - Hospital Privilges Required: Yes
REQUIRED PROCEDURES JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Licenses: Active Texas license, active DEA with TX address, CSR if needed
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS required
- Certifications: ATLS and PALs required
- Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages
- Manage acute medical and trauma emergencies, including resuscitation
- Supervise and collabrate with NP/PAs and other support staff
- Participate in trauma team activations and Level II trauma coverage
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in Cerner EMR
