Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and frontline leadership within our patient-centered health system. This role performs complex vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts studies while ensuring image quality, exam accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. The Lead Sonographer coordinates daily workflow, supports protocol development, and mentors sonography staff, fostering a collaborative, learning-focused environment. You will partner closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes, while accessing strong clinical resources, ongoing education, and career growth opportunities across Wellstar’s Georgia-based hospitals and care settings.
