Responsibilities
- Develop detailed construction drawings, schematics, and system designs using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with estimators, architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design concepts into precise technical plans.
- Prepare construction detail documentation that adheres to building code requirements and industry standards.
- Review design drafts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with building codes and client specifications.
- Support system design efforts through detailed CAD drawings, graphic representations, and schematic diagrams.
- Collaborate with City/County permitting officials to obtain the correct building permits for construction.
Requirements
- Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with construction detail documentation and building code analysis.
- Experience working on construction or engineering projects with a focus on building code compliance.
- Ability to interpret architectural sketches, schematics, and engineering drawings accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
