Responsibilities

Develop detailed construction drawings, schematics, and system designs using AutoCAD.
Collaborate with estimators, architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design concepts into precise technical plans.
Prepare construction detail documentation that adheres to building code requirements and industry standards.
Review design drafts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with building codes and client specifications.
Support system design efforts through detailed CAD drawings, graphic representations, and schematic diagrams.
Collaborate with City/County permitting officials to obtain the correct building permits for construction.

Requirements

Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD.
Familiarity with construction detail documentation and building code analysis.
Experience working on construction or engineering projects with a focus on building code compliance.
Ability to interpret architectural sketches, schematics, and engineering drawings accurately.
Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
