Core Responsibilities

Inspect Goods: Check incoming fresh flowers, greens, and supplies for defects, pests, damage, and proper sizing or stem thickness.
Verify Standards: Ensure products match purchase orders, variety specifications, and company quality guidelines.
Document Findings: Write daily inspection reports and enter data into quality control software or databases.
Communicate Issues: Report quality failures immediately to supervisors, production teams, or vendors to fix problems fast.
Support Compliance: Follow safety, hygiene, and handling procedures in the warehouse or distribution center.

Requirements & Skills

Experience: 6 months to 2 years in quality control, inspection, or floral/wholesale production.
Product Knowledge: Familiarity with flower types, freshness indicators, and proper handling or cold-chain storage.
Attention to Detail: Ability to spot bruising, wilting, or stem damage and read technical specs or lot codes.
Basic Math: Skills to calculate percentages, counts, and record measurements accurately.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy boxes of flowers and work in a cold environment
Bilingual- English/Spanish
