Job Description
The Pack & Assembly role involves preparing products for shipment through precise packing and assembly tasks within a medium-sized team of 6 to 15 members. This position requires handling various equipment including standard hand tools, automated assembly machines, and forklifts to ensure products meet quality standards and are shipped on schedule. Occasional overtime may be necessary to meet production demands.
Responsibilities
- Perform packing and assembly of products according to specifications
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure product standards
- Manage inventory and organize materials for efficient workflow
- Handle materials safely using appropriate equipment
- Operate equipment including hand tools, assembly machines, and forklifts
- Label products accurately for identification and shipping
- Prepare shipments in compliance with shipping guidelines
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in packaging and assembly
- Knowledge of assembly line operations and quality assurance
- Forklift operation certification or experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Compliance with safety standards
