Role Details
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 3+ years of safety management experiencein industrial, construction, or energy sectors.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, ISNetworld, and NCMS requirementsand safety/environmental regulations.
- Proficiency with safety management systems and data analytics tools,including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and PowerApps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily safety oversight of all construction activities at the project site.
- Promote and enforce compliance with the project Health & Safety Plan (HASP) and Contractor Safety Manual.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA standards, as well as all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor work practices to ensure safe execution of tasks.
Key Competencies:
- Develop and implement contractor safety standards and support Management of Change (MOC) processes.
- Monitor safety performance metrics, analyze trends, and prepare management reports to drive continuous improvement.
- Support incident investigations, including documentation collection, root cause analysis, and corrective action recommendations.
- Ensure regulatory compliancewith OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable regulations.
- Coordinate contractor safety training and safety roundtablesto promote awareness and best practices.
- Monitor contractor and vendor compliancewith company safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree, certificate, or relevant safety certification in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field (CHST, OHST, ASSP, CSP, COSS, CSHO, etc. preferred).
- 3+ years of safety management experience.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, ISNetworld, and NCMS requirements.
- Strong communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with reporting, trend analysis, and data tracking.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management systems.
