The Experienced Pool Technician will service residential pools, ensuring their optimal operation and cleanliness. This role requires hands-on expertise in pool maintenance, equipment repair, water testing, and chemical balancing. The technician will work independently with local travel to client locations, using standard pool maintenance tools and chemical testing kits to deliver high-quality service and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of residential pools
- Repair and troubleshoot pool pumps, filters, and related equipment
- Conduct water testing and adjust chemical levels for balanced water chemistry
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all operations
- Support installation tasks as needed
- Effectively communicate with customers regarding service status and recommendations
- Manage time efficiently to service multiple local clients
Required Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in pool maintenance and cleaning
- Knowledge of water chemistry and chemical balancing
- Ability to repair and maintain pumps and filters
- Proficiency with standard pool cleaning equipment and chemical testing kits
- Compliance with safety standards in pool service
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective customer communication
- Good time management and physical stamina for manual labor
