The Opportunity: Pest Control Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Pest Control Technician to join our growing team. You will be the face of our company, providing top-tier solutions and building lasting relationships with our customers. This role is ideal for self-starters who enjoy working independently and take pride in delivering quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection & Diagnosis: Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest problems, entry points, and conditions conducive to pest activity.
- Treatment & Application: Develop and implement effective treatment plans using safe and approved methods, including applying pesticides and baits.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers, explaining the services provided, treatment plans, and necessary preventative measures.
- Documentation: Complete all required service reports, billing paperwork, and daily logs accurately and in a timely manner.
- Vehicle & Equipment: Maintain company vehicle and equipment in good working order.
- Safety: Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines, federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain state-required Pest Control Operator/Applicator licensing (training provided, if necessary).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative.
- Physical ability to perform the demanding tasks of the job, including climbing, crawling, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in various weather conditions.
- Prior experience in the pest control industry or military service is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
