Pay Rate: $25/hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM - 2am
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled welder with a minimum of two years of hands-on welding experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on metal components while meeting safety, quality, and production standards. This position is based in Conroe, TX and offers a consistent daytime schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding on metal components according to specifications.
- Set up welding equipment, including machines, wire feed, gas, and parameters.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and accuracy.
- Perform grinding, cutting, and finishing as required.
- Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and safe.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Work independently or as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of welding experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
- Knowledge of welding safety and quality standards.
- Experience in a production or fabrication environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Welding certification (AWS or equivalent)
- Experience with structural or production welding
- Willingness to work overtime if needed
