LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Rad - Diagnostic MD in Oviedo, Florida, 32765!
We are seeking a Radiologist specializing in General Diagnostic Radiology with Light IR for a 60-day assignment in Florida, commencing Oct 1, 2026. The schedule involves Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM EST. This role encompasses a broad range of diagnostic imaging interpretations, including high utilization from the emergency department, significant CT stroke and neurovascular imaging, robust chest radiography, routine inpatient and outpatient CT, comprehensive ultrasound support, and limited image-guided procedural work.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Interpret high-volume emergency department imaging studies.
- Perform significant CT stroke and neurovascular imaging interpretation.
- Manage a strong chest radiography volume for both inpatients and outpatients.
- Provide routine interpretation for inpatient and outpatient CT scans.
- Offer comprehensive ultrasound support for vascular, abdominal, renal, and OB cases.
- Engage in limited but consistent image-guided procedural work.
- Interpret various imaging modalities including X-Ray (portable chest, trauma extremities, spine), CT (head, abdomen/pelvis, CTA chest PE, trauma), Ultrasound (venous duplex, gallbladder, renal), MRI (brain, spine, shoulder), Fluoroscopy (esophagram, upper GI), and Nuclear Medicine (HIDA, bone scan).
- Conduct light interventional radiology procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and breast localization.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology is required.
- Experience with light interventional radiology procedures is essential.
