- Rounding: Daily rounding, 1-2 hours
FACILITY INFORMATION - EMR System: Meditech (20% EMR, 80% paper)
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE - Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
REQUIRED PROCEDURES JOB REQUIREMENTS - Licenses: Active RI Medical License (or willing to obtain), DEA, CSR
- Board: Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
- DEA: DEA required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care
- Perform biopsies as needed
- Round daily on inpatients (1-2 hours)
- Take night call (5pm-8am) and weekend call (1-2 weekends per month)
- Manage patient volume of 18-22 outpatients per day and variable inpatient consults
