JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC/BE in EM (ABEM) or BC in FM/IM with 2 years EM experience
- Licenses: Active Ohio medical license and DEA
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
- Certifications: ATLS (for ABFM/ABIM; documentation for ABEM)
- Experience: 2 years EM experience required
- Other Qualifications: Residency training required; 10+ shift availability
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages.
- Manage acute medical conditions, including trauma, cardiac emergencies, and respiratory distress.
- Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and wound management.
- Collaborate with nursing and advanced practice providers to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate medical records in Epic EMR.
