JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with 2 years EM experience
- Licenses: Active Ohio medical license and DEA
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
- Certifications: ATLS required (ABEM providers need documentation of having ATLS once; ABFM/ABIM must maintain ATLS)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years Emergency Medicine experience
- Other Qualifications: Must have 10+ shift availability
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED
- Manage patient admissions, observations, and transfers
- Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers (NPPAs)
- Document patient encounters in EPIC EMR
- Participate in EMR training and one shadow shift orientation
