Now Hiring a Welder at Creer HVAC and Sheet Metal Works!

Qualifications:

- Tig Weld aluminum and stainless
- Ability to weld thin materials without warping.
- Strong control over torch angle, filler metal, and heat input.
- Knowledge of shielding gases (argon, helium, mixes).
- Ability to weld in all positions (1G–6G).
Material Knowledge
- Stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, nickel alloys, titanium.
- Understanding material preparation, cleaning, and fit-up.
Blueprint & Welding Symbol Reading
- Ability to interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
Safety
- PPE (gloves, hood, respirators).
- Knowledge of ventilation requirements (especially for stainless steel and exotic alloys).
