TransForce is seeking a non-CDL Local Route Driver to support local operations based in Mechanicsville, VA. Driver must have a valid Medcard to qualify for this position.
Job Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday- 6 am start, 8/10 hr shift
- Pay: $20-$24 depending on experience
- Duties: Delivering insulation products to job sites and customers' warehouses throughout VA.
- Touch Freight, must be able to lift 75lbs. Most loads are palletized, and an electric pallet jack will be provided. Truck has a lift gate
- Freight / Load Type: Insulation Supplies
- Equipment: Box Truck with lift gate
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience. Boxtruck
- Strong disposition for positive customer service, strong verbal communication skills
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Medcard
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate equipment
- Communication with the public
- Completion of all paperwork, reports, and other documentation
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
