About the Clinician's WorkdayThe anatomic and clinical pathologist will provide diagnostic pathology services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with coverage beginning in September on a one-week-per-month basis. The daily case volume consists of 110 to 120 CP sign-outs per day, which are fully prepped and estimated to require 4 to 5 hours; the remainder of the day is dedicated to AP cases. Case types include signing out serum protein electrophoresis, serum protein immunofixation, urine protein electrophoresis, and urine protein immunofixation. Grossing and frozen sections are not required, and no call responsibilities are associated with this assignment.
