PATIENT INFORMATION
- Rounding: Included (NICU ROP rounding on Wednesdays)
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) screening and management (dilated retinal exams)
- ROP laser photocoagulation treatment
- Intravitreal anti-VEGF injections for ROP
- General pediatric ophthalmology examination and ambulatory care
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform ROP screening, diagnosis, and management in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Deliver laser photocoagulation and intravitreal injections for ROP as needed
- Provide ambulatory pediatric ophthalmology clinic services on Tuesdays and other assigned days
- Cover inpatient consultations and weekend on-site coverage as required
- Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric hospitalists, nursing staff, and ancillary services to coordinate care
