PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE - Credentialing Timeline: 120+ days
REQUIRED PROCEDURES - Delivery room attendance
- Neonatal resuscitation
- PICC line placement
- Umbilical line placement
- Needle aspiration
- Chest tube placement
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: Board Certified (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, etc.)
- Licenses: Active Michigan License
- Certifications: NRP Advanced Provider or Instructor
- Experience: Neonatal experience required; new graduates not accepted
- Other Qualifications: Current NPDB self-query (within one month) required for presentation
Duties & Responsibilities - Provide inpatient neonatal care in a Level III NICU setting
- Attend deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation as needed
- Perform procedures including PICC line placement, umbilical line placement, needle aspiration, and chest tube insertion
- Manage an average caseload of 10-12 patients per day under physician supervision
- Collaborate with supervising physician and multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality neonatal care
