REQUIRED PROCEDURES Must have recent and substantial cardiovascular surgical assist experience, including Endovascular Vein Harvesting (EVH) with Maquet Hemopro 2 system.
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: Board Certified
- Licenses: Active California license
- DEA: Active DEA registration
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Experience: Recent and substantial cardiovascular surgical assist experience, including EVH
- Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history; must be on active unrestricted staff at a TJC accredited facility; self-query NPDB report (dated within 30 days) required at presentation
Duties & Responsibilities - Assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
- Conduct morning rounds, write post-operative notes, shared with surgeons
- Staff follow-up clinic on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, seeing up to 6 patients
- Occasional urgent patient evaluation outside scheduled clinic times
- Participate in night call after onsite shift, with minimal callback
