PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery Patients
• Patient Volume/Census: 1–10 Patient Encounters Per Shift
• Admissions: Included as Needed
• Rounding: Included
• Phone Consults: Included During Call Coverage
• Case Mix: Cardiac Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery
FACILITY INFORMATION
• EMR System: Epic
• Specialty Backup Available: Cardiovascular Service Line
• Support Staff Available: 2 APRNs on Staff
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Endovascular Vein Harvesting (EVH)
• Cardiac Surgery Patient Management
• Vascular Surgery Patient Management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Active Nurse Practitioner License Required
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner Preferred
• Endovascular Vein Harvest Competency Required
• Other Qualifications: Must Be Willing to Teach Two New APPs Endovascular Vein Harvest Techniques
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide inpatient cardiothoracic surgery coverage
• Perform endovascular vein harvesting for cardiac surgery cases
• Manage heart, vascular, and thoracic surgery patients
• Participate in floor call and weekend call coverage
• Document patient care activities within Epic EMR
