- Support Staff Available: RNs, ICU nursing staff
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- Central line insertions (CVLs, vascaths, introducers)
- Arterial line insertions
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Acute Care Certified (ACNP) required for NP candidates; PA must have valid national certification
- Licenses: Active Georgia state license required (local candidate preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years as an APP in an ICU setting
- Other Qualifications: Case logs for central and arterial line procedures may be required for credentialing
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
- Collaborate with attending physicians on plan of care and communicate dynamic changes
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions
- Complete order entry and documentation (H&Ps, Consults, Event/Follow-up Notes, Procedure Notes) using Cerner EMR
- Perform invasive procedures including central and arterial line insertions
