REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- Full-scope emergency medicine procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Licenses: Current Indiana medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA / CDS: Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Experience: Experience in high-acuity emergency medicine preferred
- Other Qualifications: MD or DO from accredited medical school; ability to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and emergent conditions; comfort practicing in a trauma-designated emergency department
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
- Perform full-scope emergency medicine procedures in a high-acuity setting
- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers, nursing staff, and hospital leadership
- Oversee patient care in a 33-bed Emergency Department with dedicated trauma bays
- Deliver efficient, high-quality emergency care within a regional medical center environment
