Job Description

We are looking for a Class A CDL driver to join our team, responsible for operating tractor-trailers primarily on local routes. The ideal candidate will ensure safe and efficient vehicle operation, maintain proper documentation, and adhere to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate tractor-trailers on local routes safely and efficiently
Secure loads to ensure safe transport
Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Keep accurate logbooks and other required documentation
Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips
Handle all necessary shipping and delivery documentation

Preferred Qualifications

Class A CDL License
Defensive driving skills
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
Strong time management abilities
Excellent customer service skills
Proficient with GPS navigation systems
Effective communication skills
Knowledge of regulatory requirements
