Job Description

The Journeyman Plumber will undertake a variety of plumbing projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use, and industrial settings. Working mainly within local areas, the role involves collaboration with teams of varying sizes—from small groups to larger crews—and requires proficiency with standard plumbing tools as well as mobile applications for scheduling and reporting. This position emphasizes hands-on system installation, maintenance, repair, and strict adherence to plumbing codes to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain plumbing systems according to blueprints and specifications
Diagnose and repair leaks and other plumbing issues efficiently
Read and interpret blueprints for accurate project execution
Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters
Ensure compliance with plumbing codes and safety regulations
Troubleshoot system problems and implement effective solutions
Provide excellent customer service and communication on-site
Handle materials, tools, and equipment safely and effectively
Conduct water testing and detailed site inspections
Collaborate with medium to large teams to complete projects on time

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in plumbing and pipefitting
Strong ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Expertise with drainage and water supply systems
Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot
Effective communication skills for customer interaction
Time management skills to meet project deadlines
