Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pool Technician to join our dynamic aquatic maintenance team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and optimal operation of swimming pools and aquatic facilities. Your expertise will help create a pristine environment for our clients and their guests, delivering exceptional service through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and chemical management. Responsibilities

Perform routine pool cleaning tasks including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain water clarity and hygiene.
Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators to ensure proper functioning.
Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment issues using hand tools and power tools, minimizing downtime and maintaining system efficiency.
Balance water chemistry by accurately handling water treatment chemicals to ensure safe and compliant pool conditions.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and equipment repairs for compliance and quality assurance.
Operate company vehicles safely to transport supplies and access multiple aquatic sites efficiently.
Adhere to safety protocols when handling chemicals and performing outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

Proven experience with pool maintenance, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment troubleshooting.
Knowledge of pool plumbing systems and mechanical components essential for diagnosing issues.
Ability to handle water treatment chemicals safely while following all safety guidelines.
Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or facility staff.
Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual tasks.
Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment required for repairs.
Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely is preferred.
Prior aquatic facility experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
