About the Role:

J K Stell Electrical and Construction is looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in Colonial Heights, VA. Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and/or light industrial settings
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
Perform conduit bending, wiring, and panel installations
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and equipment malfunctions
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes and local regulations
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members on job sites
Maintain a safe and organized work environment following OSHA safety standards

Requirements:

Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Virginia
Minimum 4 years of hands-on electrical experience
Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics
Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local electrical codes
Experience with residential, commercial, or construction electrical work
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a safety-first mindset
Must be dependable and punctual
Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance
