Responsibilities

Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation.
Manage inventory control and inventory management processes to maintain adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Oversee shift management to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to create a positive team environment focused on excellence.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Proven experience in inventory control and management within a kitchen setting.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff effectively.
Proficient in menu planning with a creative approach to cooking.
Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment.
Experience in cooking various cuisines is a plus.
