Home Service Electrician (Residential & Light Commercial)

Wadi Electric is looking for a highly skilled, well-rounded electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship, excellent customer service, and getting the job done right the first time.

We're searching for an electrician who can confidently handle residential service work, light commercial projects, troubleshooting, installations, and electrical upgrades. This is a long-term career opportunity with room for advancement as our company continues to grow.

What You'll Do

Diagnose and troubleshoot residential and commercial electrical issues
Perform service calls with professionalism and efficiency
Install EV chargers (Tesla, ChargePoint, etc.)
Install ceiling fans, chandeliers, lighting, and recessed lights
Install dedicated circuits for appliances and equipment
Perform panel repairs, panel upgrades, and service replacements
Install outlets, switches, GFCIs, AFCIs, dimmers, and smart devices
Complete whole-home rewiring and remodel work
Perform commercial tenant improvements and electrical repairs
Read blueprints and electrical diagrams
Ensure all work complies with NEC and local codes
Complete digital work orders, photos, and documentation using company software
Educate customers on repair options and recommend solutions when appropriate

We're Looking For Someone Who

Has 5+ years of residential and/or commercial electrical experience
Can troubleshoot independently with minimal supervision
Has strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Is comfortable interacting directly with customers
Has excellent communication skills
Takes pride in clean, organized workmanship
Is dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Maintains a positive attitude and works well with a team

Preferred Qualifications

Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred but not required)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Experience with residential service work
Experience with commercial electrical systems
Experience with panel upgrades and EV charger installations
Ability to lift 75 lbs. and work on ladders, in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors
