CPCU , 8NE & NW, is a 68-bed unit cardiac step-down unit that provides an intermediate level of care to patients that typically have a cardiac related diagnosis such as coronary artery disease (CAD), congestive heart failure (CHF), myocardial infarction (MI) and heart arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation (A-fib) and ventricular tachycardia (V-Tach). The primary patient population served include patients with various cardiac and vascular diseases requiring medical, procedural, or surgical interventions. Most patients receive continuous telemetry monitoring.
