FIELD LABORER / EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
The Municipal Authority of the Borough of Portage Water Department is seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join our team! Responsibilities include operating excavators, backhoes, loaders, skid steers, and other equipment; performing water main and service line repairs, leak detection, excavation, restoration, general maintenance, and emergency repairs.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license required.
- Experience operating construction equipment preferred.
- Ability to perform outdoor labor in all weather conditions.
- Mechanical aptitude and commitment to workplace safety.
- Pennsylvania Class E Water Operator License preferred. Must be willing to obtain within one year of hire if not currently licensed.
Must be dependable, able to work independently and as part of a team, and available for occasional overtime, weekends, and emergency call-outs.
