Safety First Solutions Inc. is recruiting construction safety representatives for multiple upcoming client projects across the United States. We're looking for safety professionals who are willing to travel, communicate clearly with crews and site leadership, and carry out their duties with professionalism and sound judgment.
Compensation
- Hourly pay based on the assignment
- Per diem for travel assignments
- Reimbursement for approved travel mileage to and from the project
Required qualifications
- OSHA 510 course completion
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction course completion
- Current First Aid and AED credentials
- Willingness to travel for project assignments across the United States
- 3+ Years of experience
Preferred qualifications
- Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification
- Other relevant certifications from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP)
- NFPA 70E electrical safety training
- OSHA 500 course completion
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction course completion
- Bilingual (English / Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Conduct jobsite safety inspections, identify hazards, and document findings.
- Review job hazard analyses (JHAs) and pre-task plans (PTPs) with crews.
- Lead or support toolbox talks and safety meetings.
- Coordinate corrective actions with site leadership and verify that they're completed.
- Assist with incident and near-miss reporting and maintain accurate project safety records.
