Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Class A CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, excellent time-management skills, and a commitment to delivering freight safely and on time.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles.
- Transport and deliver freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and required transportation documents.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Secure and inspect cargo when required.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and management.
- Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delays promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license.
- Minimum 1-2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
- Ability to operate manual or automatic transmission vehicles, as applicable.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Must be able to perform physical duties associated with loading/unloading when required
