Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate heavy-duty tow trucks to transport disabled, impounded, or illegally parked vehicles safely and efficiently back to our terminal in IL. This role requires strong driving skills and knowledge of towing equipment.
The CDL Tow Truck Driver must follow all safety procedures, maintain equipment, and comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
Pay: $0.70 - $0.75 per mile
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty tow trucks and recovery equipment safely and professionally
- Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles without causing damage
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tow trucks and equipment
- Maintain accurate service logs, tow reports, and required documentation
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned tow truck

Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (Class A)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate heavy-duty tow trucks and recovery equipment
- Ability to lift, pull, and secure heavy equipment and vehicles
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays if required
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
