The Assistant Superintendent supports commercial construction projects across office and retail, healthcare and institutional, industrial and manufacturing, and mixed-use environments. Reporting to the Project Manager and Project Superintendent, this role helps coordinate field activities, maintain project standards, and support successful project delivery. The position involves frequent regional travel between project sites and offers advancement toward Senior Superintendent.
Responsibilities
- Support site supervision for commercial construction projects.
- Coordinate trade partners and oversee subcontractor activities.
- Track project schedules and communicate progress.
- Review plans and help resolve field coordination issues.
- Coordinate materials and support timely deliveries.
- Monitor quality control and safety compliance.
- Prepare daily reports and maintain site documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in commercial construction supervision.
