About the Role:
Alfaro-McField Medical Clinic Inc is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in San Bernardino, CA. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams, and health screenings
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across a diverse patient population
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans and treatment protocols
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging studies
- Provide patient education on disease management, prevention, and wellness
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
Requirements:
- Valid California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and board certification (FNP, ANP, or related specialty)
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program
- Current DEA license and prescriptive authority in the state of California
- BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, or outpatient clinical setting preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first approach
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus given the San Bernardino patient community
