We’re hiring an Experienced Diesel Mechanic for a full-time, day-shift, temp-to-hire position in Melbourne, FL (Industrial Park), Monday–Friday. You’ll troubleshoot, maintain, and repair diesel engines and industrial water-moving equipment used in drainage, construction dewatering, and flood control, with occasional travel to local customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine servicing.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and replace damaged components.
- Test repairs and maintain accurate service records.
- Travel to local job sites and communicate repair needs.
Requirements
- Previous hands-on diesel mechanic experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience using mechanic’s tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred: Industrial pumps, heavy equipment, and mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic troubleshooting experience.
