JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABMS/AOA)
- Licenses: Active TX License
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA with TX address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS
- Experience: Active ED practice within past 12 months, 100 ED procedures in past 2 years
- Other Qualifications: Case logs required; CME courses on Hypertension in Pregnancy and Postpartum Hemorrhage; FPPE required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
- Perform emergency procedures including moderate and deep sedation.
- Collaborate with NP/PA staff and other healthcare providers.
- Manage patient care in a Level III trauma center with 12 ED beds.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using Epic EMR.
